San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee had one of the strangest moments of the season on Friday night, and MLB fans wasted no time roasting him for it.

In the top of the eighth inning against the struggling Colorado Rockies, Lee made a routine catch on Hunter Goodman’s fly ball with a runner on first. But instead of throwing the ball back in, he casually tossed it into the stands, thinking the inning was over, but it wasn’t.

The runner advanced to third before Jung Hoo Lee realized his mistake and froze in disbelief. Luckily for the Giants, no run came from the blunder.
