Riverside County is under a flood watch which was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:38 a.m. The watch is valid between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
According to the NWS Phoenix AZ , “Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.”
“Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas,” according to the NWS. “You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.”
