BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Happy Saturday!
We are enjoying a sunny start to the last weekend of September. Clouds are starting to form in east Alabama, but we remain mostly dry shortly before noon. Temperatures have warmed into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
We have a stalled boundary to our east producing showers and storms across Georgia, South Carolina and into the Mid-Atlantic. Most of the rain will remain to our east, but I can’t rule out a stray shower this afternoon in far east Alabama this afternoon. Most of us will enjoy a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky today with high temperatures climbing into the mid 80s. Winds are forecast to come from the north at 5 to 10 mph.
If you have any evening plans, we will likely remain mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures cooling
