After over 30 people lost their lives in a stampede during Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay’s campaign rally in Tamil Nadu’s Karur on Saturday evening, state BJP leader K Annamalai expressed shock, calling the incident “deeply distressing.” He squarely blamed the ruling DMK government for its "gross negligence" in managing crowd safety at the high-profile rally.
