Defiant Jimmy Thelin insists his Aberdeen players are still playing for him despite their miserable start to the season continuing with a disastrous defeat to Motherwell. ‌

The Reds were on course to claim just their second point of the campaign at Fir Park before conceding two goals in stoppage time that has left Thelin 's side rock bottom of the Premiership with one point from the first 15 available. ‌

Aberdeen have now failed to score in each of those games, with summer signing Marko Lazetic - recruited from AC Milan - squandering a big opportunity moments before a howler from last season's Scottish Cup hero Dimitar Mitov handed Motherwell their first win of the league campaign. ‌
