CENTREVILLE, Mich. (WNDU) - A 64-year-old man is facing charges after police say a threat was reported against government staff and employees at the St. Joseph County Courthouse in Centreville on Friday.

Police say the man, who is from the White Pigeon area, had a gun in his possession when he was taken into custody.

He is currently being held at the St. Joseph County Jail on charges of making terrorist threats.

Police say there is no threat to the public.
