MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two men were charged after a shooting left one man dead in northeast Memphis, court records show.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Jackson Avenue at Crown Super Market just after 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 7.

Police said they found a man lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators spoke with a woman who said she was outside the business with the victim when a car pulled into the lot. She said two men, Donterrio Jackson and Ethan Butler, got out and went inside. According to her statement, Jackson, Butler and the victim got into an altercation before shots were fired.
