New York Mayor Eric Adams has officially dropped out of the contentious mayoral race, according to published reports.
Adams’ announcement leaves the field wide open for the two remaining candidates, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s and the Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani.
Mamdani has also received a boost with an endorsement from former Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I support the Democrat in the race,” said former Vice President Kamala Harris, of NYC Mayoral frontrunner Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani.
