Parents at SEED LA in South Los Angeles say there’s growing racial tension between Black and Hispanic students and staff. They also report the school often hides issues from parents instead of being transparent.

Staff member Curtis Nash, a Black male, was fired. Parents believe his termination was unfair and racially motivated. Families are demanding:

A clear explanation for Nash’s firing

Action to address racial tensions

Honest communication with parents

SEED LA is California’s first public boarding charter school, overseen by the SEED Foundation and L.A. County Office of Education.
