LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Not many complaints with the weather to start the week as high pressure remains in control and keeps things quiet!

Some may even want a light jacket as we are starting out the week with temperatures back into the lower and middle 60s.

We’ll see some variation in morning lows through the first half of the week as cloud cover will be moving in from time to time.

As for the afternoons, we are tracking plenty of sunshine on the way, which will help to provide the perfect weather to get outdoors!

Highs will be on the warmer side as it feels a little more like summer rather than fall as highs are in the lower 90s.

Over time we will begin to see some humidity slowly working its way back into the forecast.
