NEW YORK (PIX11) -- High pressure will remain in control of the weather for much of the upcoming week, keeping dry and tranquil conditions in the region.

The tri-state area can expect mostly sunny skies Monday afternoon with temperatures that will feel more like summer. The high will be 80 in the city, and upper 70s to low 80s in the suburbs.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warm with a high of 81 in the city, and low to mid-80s in the suburbs.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and cooler as winds will shift to the northwest, bringing Canadian air back into the area. The high will be 69 in the city, and mid to upper 60s in the suburbs.
