50 tourist spots were closed in Jammu and Kashmir after the Pahalgam attack.
Jammu and Kashmir administration reopened seven tourist spots in the valley. These spots had been closed following the Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22 April. The reopening was carried out under the instructions of LG Manoj Sinha.
The seven tourist spots reopened in the Kashmir division include Aru Valley, Rafting Point Yanner, Akkad Park, Padshahi Park, and Kaman Post.
After the terrorist attack in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam on 22 April, the LG administration had closed nearly 50 tourist spots. In that attack, terrorists shot and killed 26 tourists.
The LG has also ordered the reopening of five tourist spots in the Jammu division: Dagan Top in Ramban, Dhagar in Kathua, and Shiv Gufa in Salal, Riasi.
