(WTAJ) — Drivers in Blair and Bedford counties should prepare for delays as PennDOT continues work along Interstate 99 through Oct. 10.

Overnight single-lane restrictions are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. in both directions between the Cross Keys and 17th Street interchanges in Blair County, according to PennDOT. Additional daytime lane restrictions are planned near the Tyrone interchange for barrier work and patching.

In Bedford County, bridge deck repair and concrete patching will cause lane restrictions at the I-99/Route 56 interchange near Cessna. That project was recently added to the ongoing $23.5 million I-99 improvement plan covering about 10 miles from Newry to the 17th Street exit in Blair County. New Enterprise Stone and Lime, Inc. is the contractor.
