HUDSON, Wis. — A former Wisconsin elementary school teacher is facing up to 12 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to three criminal counts involving an inappropriate relationship with a 5th-grade student .

Madison Bergmann sobbed as she was led from a St. Croix County courtroom after agreeing to a plea deal that had her plead guilty to one count of child enticement and two counts of sexual misconduct by a school staff member. In return for the pleas, prosecutors agreed to request no more than 12 years in prison for the former River Crest Elementary 5th-grade teacher.
