WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WFSB) - An arrest was made in a drive-by shooting in Windsor Locks back in 2024.

The incident occurred in the area of South Elm Street where a home was struck by gunfire on December 12th, the police department said.

Law enforcement officers were able to recover a bullet projectile from inside of the residence that at the time had two adults and two small children.

No injuries were reported in this incident.

It was also revealed that the residents were found to have no relationship with the shooter.

The suspect vehicle involved was identified and was found in Hartford.

Following an investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Jose Morales of Hartford.

Police were able to obtain an arrest warrant, he was then placed in custody.
