Bridge over U.S. 23 likely to remain closed for weeks after Mack truck crash

HARTLAND TWP., MI — It will likely be weeks until motorists will be able to travel across U.S. 23 on Crouse Road in Hartland Township as state road officials continue to assess damage to an overpass that was struck by a truck.

The overpass in northeast Livingston County was struck by a Mack truck hauling dumpsters traveling on northbound U.S. 23 on Thursday, Sept. 25. Crouse Road remains closed in both directions as of Monday.
