AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Even the babies in Northeast Ohio are ready for Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Akron Children’s Hospital dressed up their NICU babies in glitzy dresses and Travis Kelce jerseys ahead of the release of the album on Friday.

A release from Akron Children’s say the dress up helps celebrate the babies’ milestones in their NICU journey.

NICU nurses helped spearhead the dress-up project.

“Projects like these only deepen the bonds between nursing, support staff and patient families, who often spend weeks, if not months, in the NICU,” the release said.
