FARRELL, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is asking the City of Farrell to take down flashing yellow traffic lights on Roemer Boulevard after determining that traffic signals for the roadway are still not warranted.
This comes one month after Farrell residents complained about the flashing yellow lights, saying that drivers aren't slowing down and are striking parked cars in the roadway.
At that time, PennDOT told 21 News that if the city wanted to change the traffic lights, it would need to submit a formal request to PennDOT.
