A joint purchase between the town of Walden and Hamilton County could pave the way for a new school.

The two have been discussing purchasing 42 acres of land that sits along Taft Highway. The land is directly across the street from the Walden Town Hall. The asking price for the lot of land is $2.4 million.

Walden Mayor Lee Davis tells Local 3 in a statement:
