CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The City of Canyon has announced the hiring of Dustin Meyer as the Director of Planning and Development, starting Sept. 29.

According to city officials from Canyon, Meyer was previously with the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission, where he served as the executive director. Meyer also holds a bachelor's degree in political science from West Texas A&M University and a Certified Public Manager Certification from Texas Tech University.
