SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Utah-based company Tru Fru, LLC announced a voluntary recall of some of their freeze-dried strawberry products due to a potential presence of metal in the snacks.

The products were manufactured by Georgia Nut Company, working as a third-party manufacturer for Tru Fru. They made the voluntary decision to issue a recall after a member of the public reported the issue to the company. At this time, no injuries have been reported.

The affected products include certain manufacturing lots of Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries in Dark and White Chocolate and Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries and Creme. You can find out whether products you've purchased are affected by the recall on the FDA's website here.
