CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A call to end violent crime in Charlotte and keep repeat offenders behind bars was the primary focus at a House Judiciary Subcommittee meeting on Monday, less than two months after a woman was killed on Charlotte’s light rail.

Family members of murder victims shared their stories in the hearing.
