PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Peoria Police arrested a man who allegedly stole an electric bike from another while armed with a knife.

Police said 40-year-old Domonic M. Mann was arrested on preliminary charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault and taken to the jail.

Officers were called around 12:15 p.m. Friday to the 100 block of North Richard Pryor Place for the reported armed robbery.

The victim told police he was confronted by an unknown man who allegedly displayed a knife, stole the victim’s electric bicycle and fled eastbound on John Gwynn Avenue.

Police reportedly found Mann in the 400 block of Southwest Adams Street, allegedly with the bicycle and knife.
