At the end of next month, Spirit Airlines will go wheels-up from Bradley International Airport for good.
The airline confirmed the news to NBC Connecticut Monday morning.

“As part of our ongoing restructuring, we have adjusted our upcoming schedule to focus on our strongest markets,” the company said in a statement.
When reviewing Bradley passenger data, the impact to Hartford’s airport will be small.
In FY2024, Spirit made up 3.0% of passenger market share at Bradley (American made up 21.7% as the largest carrier with Delta close behind at 18.4%).
