SOMERTON, AZ (AZFamily) — Law enforcement in the Yuma area is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect who shot and killed a man on Sunday in a possible love triangle.
Police said 40-year-old Ignacio Bedoy confronted his estranged wife and a 31-year-old man just before 11 p.m. at a home on Cactus Street, south of Main Street and west of Somerton Avenue , and gunned down the man.
He then fired blindly into an apartment where multiple adults and children were hiding, police said. No one was hurt.
Bedoy then drove off in a black Chevrolet Camaro convertible with an Arizona license plate PLA90V.
He is described as a Hispanic man, about 5′10″, weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
