ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two young men are in critical condition after authorities said they were chased down and shot by a man on an ATV.

According to the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Eaves Bridge Road and Garner Road at around 12:12 a.m. Sunday.

When deputies got there, they found one man with a gunshot wound to the neck, and another, who had suffered a head injury.

The victims said they had been riding their pickup truck around on dirt roads when a man on an ATV started chasing them and fired a gunshot. The sheriff’s office said the men hid in the woods, and when they tried to leave, the driver of the ATV blocked the road and fired more shots, causing the pickup truck to run off the road and hit a tree.
