PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — Two decades ago, Pickaway County was reeling from the loss of thousands of manufacturing jobs. Today, the county is at the center of central Ohio’s growth, attracting global companies, new housing developments and thousands of residents.

“I think we’re on the journey of resurgence,” saidTim Colburn, executive director of the Pickaway Progress Partnership (P3) since 2023.

“We focused on planning, collaboration and building a strategy for long-term development,” he says of the work P3 has accomplished since it was first established decades ago to help guide this county of nearly 60,000 people into strategic economic growth.
