CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A new, same-day surgery center broke ground in Catskill on Monday. Officials from the Albany Med Health System celebrated the start of a project that will expand medical services at Greene Medical Arts.

The center will offer same-day surgery, a first for both Columbia and Greene Counties.

Leaders said they hope to begin construction this fall with the facility expected to open in late 2026.
