Playful airport workers spark joy when they think no one is watching thumb

Who says work can’t be fun? Certainly not the two ground workers at Copenhagen Airport who turned a routine task into a full-blown competition.

Passenger Zubair Ahmed was on a plane waiting to take off for Gothenburg when he noticed the pair outside his window. Instead of simply stacking cones, they turned the task into a game — cheering and chest-bumping after each victory, and having melodramatic meltdowns when they missed.

Their antics didn’t stay on the tarmac for long. The video of the duo racked up more than 1.4 million likes on Instagram, turning them into unexpected celebrities.

And they’re not the only ones showing that a day at work can double as a viral moment. Nearly 4,000 miles away in Charleston, West Virginia, two border collies named Hercules and Ned have won fans for their own unique airport duties.

The pups, trained to chase wildlife off the runway, keep West Virginia’s busiest airport safe while charming travelers and viewers alike. With years of experience — and plenty of wagging tails — they’ve become both guardians of flight safety and internet stars.
