We're about to turn the page on the calendar to a new month, but it won't bring with it a new weather pattern. Warm and quiet weather has been the running theme since the end of last week, and it looks to persist well into October.

For tonight, we'll be enjoying another clear and comfortable night. Leave the windows open if you want. There isn't much humidity, and temperatures will cool off to comfortable levels by morning.

A cloud maker will swing out of Texas on Tuesday, delivering a round of high cloudiness to the area. Skies will still remain pretty bright, and temperatures will climb back into the 80s.

As we move out of September and into October, we won't see any changes to the pattern. Cool mornings will be followed by warm afternoons.
