OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Blackstone and Midtown businesses have struggled for months amid streetcar construction , but now, downtown businesses are feeling the strain as well.

“It’s not safe. It’s a hazard. All of this is hazardous,” said Casey Doss, a server at Lola B’s.

That’s one of the main concerns from business owners around the 10th and Dodge Streets construction.

Omaha Public Works tells First Alert 6 that the construction is for the streetcar, but nearby, there are also other active projects.

Restaurant employees and owners in the Capitol District say they’re concerned about the safety of their customers.
