SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A quiet forecast ahead as high pressure continues to hold strong across the ArkLaTex.

For tonight, skies will become mostly cloudy, but it will stay dry across the region. It will remain mild with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Clouds will be sticking around through much of Tuesday and this will keep highs in the mid to upper 80s. By mid to late afternoon, sunshine should return. Even with the clouds, no rain is expected anywhere in the ArkLaTex.

Sunshine returns in full force on Wednesday and temperatures will return to the low 90s.

For the rest of the week and into the weekend, no major changes are on the horizon. Other than a few passing clouds, it stays quiet with no hope for any rainfall. Temperatures will remain above average with highs most days
