HOOVER, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Hoover Police Department is investigating a double shooting at an apartment complex.

According to police, the shooting occurred just before 6 p.m. at the Haven Apartment Homes in the 2900 block of Chace Lake Drive.

Officers say they arrived to find two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to police, both of the men were taken to UAB hospital by Hoover Fire medics.

Police say the suspect fled the scene and Hoover Police officers, as well as deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are searching for the suspect now.
