MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis brewery is ending its 11-year run in just a few days.

LynLake Brewery announced on social media Monday that it is closing its doors permanently on Oct. 5.

Located in the heart of the LynLake neighborhood of Uptown, the brewery first opened in 2014 in the historic Lyndale Theater building.

It's not the first craft brewery to close its doors this year; Wild Mind Ales in South Minneapolis just closed on Sunday. The Brewers Association says 2024 was the first year since 2005 that the number of breweries that closed outpaced the number of breweries that opened across the country.
