PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The goal for several years in Pine Bluff has always started with revitalization and resources. City leaders are working to bring in more business, but it's been a slippery slope.

James Rice, who owns Rice's in Pine Bluff says he's watched the same thing happen for over 10 years.

"It's like up and down, I mean we have seen a couple of new businesses open and then also we've seen some older ones close," Rice said.

Rich's Hamburgers is one of many restaurants that have been around for decades, and on Sunday night the business was broken into.

Pine Bluff police say they are now investigating what happened.

"I wish the community would come together and do more, especially with local business with places that's been around like rich's forever," Rice said.
