SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Monday night was the first of two meetings this week between the City of Springfield and nearby business owners and residents regarding Sunshine Street.

It's all part of a feedback effort for the Sunshine Street Corridor Study, which saw a similar style meeting in June.

"What we did in June is just kicked off the event so that we were having the study. These are the type of things we were going to look at and started getting that initial feedback. Some of those ideas we've gotten like for, say, a large trail system or, you know, a median or, you know, a bike lane. We're taking those ideas and giving people the idea to put those into real play in a real-world situation of where those could possibly work," Brett Foster with the City of Springfield said.
