MENTOR, Ohio (WOIO) - All Mentor Public Schools are closed Tuesday due to a shortage of bus drivers.

School officials posted the emergency announcement on Facebook just after 6 a.m.

“We realize this may cause an inconvenience, but we do not have the staff available to transport all of of our students to and from school today.”

School officials said there are a large number of absences in the transportation department.
