Wendy's has officially joined the chicken tender competition .

Now on the fast food chain's menu: Chicken tenders available in a 3-piece order, a 4-piece order and two tenders in a Kids' Meal (prices vary per location). Your order comes with a choice of two new and improved sauces: Wendy’s Signature, Sweet Chili, Scorchin’ Hot, Creamy Ranch, Honey BBQ, and Honey Mustard.  (Kids' Meals come with one sauce. Additional sauce dip cups are available with any order for a small charge.)

The new dish, affectionately called "Wendy's Tendys" on the company's social media, is "crafted using the highest-quality ingredients, including 100% white meat, coated in light, crispy and flavorful breading," Wendy's Interim CEO Kenneth Cook said during the company's second quarter earnings call on Aug. 8.
