CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The former attorney accused of killing his client, Aliza Sherman, will be able to get the DNA retested.

Sherman was brutally stabbed when she went to Gregory Moore’s office on Erieview Plaza in downtown Cleveland for an appointment on March 24, 2013.

Moore’s attorney previously told 19 news the DNA will point to the real killer.

The evidence to be retested is the DNA found on Sherman’s watch at the time of her death.

“There is no DNA whatsoever that connects Greg Moore to this case... there’s been theories, obviously, that I’m sure you’re aware of, that third parties could be involved, that were hired by other potential suspects in this matter. And so things of that nature make it relevant, highly relevant from the defense point of view,” said Attorney Jon Paul
