STRONGSVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - U.S. Marshals arrested a suspect accused of sexually assaulting children Monday afternoon in Strongsville.
According to a news release, police in Plainfield, New Jersey issued a warrant earlier this week for Castellanos-Felipe.
Marshals say Rafael Castellanos-Felipe, who they called a “predator," was taken into custody in an apartment in the 17500 block of Whitney Road.
The release states he faces multiple counts of sexual assault against children.
He is now in the Cuyahoga County Jail awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
“Law enforcement in both New Jersey and Ohio acted quickly to ensure this predator was investigated and arrested to ensure the safety of children in both communities.”
