HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Some upper level clouds that we saw build in from the south yesterday afternoon, remain over central and eastern parts of the area this morning. Meanwhile, skies remain mostly clear over the western third of Nebraska. There are a few radar returns from some of the light rain that is way up high in those clouds. But with dry air closer to the surface, most, if not all of that light rain will evaporate before getting to the ground. Later today, most will still warm up into the upper 70s and lower 80s. There might be a few mid 80s. The western half of the area will be mostly sunny, but the eastern half of the area will remain mostly cloudy. Overnight, we’ll see some evening clearing.
