HOUSTON (KIAH) — The popular Galleria Food Truck park, located at the intersection of Val Verde and Chimney Rock, has officially shutdown following a court decision.

The judge's ruling came in response to concerns raised by the public regarding safety, stemming from a pattern of frequent police calls and reports of alleged criminal activity within the park.

Court documents show that a lawsuit was filed against one owner, who manages several food trucks operating in the area.

As a result, a temporary restraining order was put in place, removing the food truck owners from the premises. A hearing is now scheduled for October 3 to thoroughly address the underlying issues and determine the future of the food truck park, which will remain closed until that date.
