SAGINAW, MI — Two Saginaw women are accused of robbing a local gas station, though only one managed to flee the scene before police arrived.
Shortly after 4 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, police responded to a reported holdup at the Sunoco at 301 S. Michigan Ave. They arrived to find one of the two suspects, 31-year-old Talisha T. Donald, still in the store.
The store’s clerk told police Donald and another woman, Diamond Starstarrshae King, 34, came to the business together. While King pumped gas, Donald went inside, walked behind the counter, and grabbed a stack of bills near the cash register, prosecutors allege.
Surveillance cameras recorded the incident.
