CLEVELAND (WJW) -- Case Western Reserve University evacuated on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30, after a bomb threat was reported at the nearby Cleveland Institute of Art.

"Multiple agencies investigating bomb threat at Cleveland Institute of Art," reads a Tuesday social media post from Case Western. "Out of an abundance of caution, CWRU will evacuate buildings in the vicinity. Follow all instructions from emergency personnel. DO NOT call CWRU Dispatch unless in an emergency."

University Circle police investigated at the scene. Authorities gave the all clear just after 1 p.m.

Roads near the institute were closed Tuesday afternoon: • Euclid Avenue from Circle Drive to Mayfield Road and from Mayfield Road to East 117th Stree
