CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A crash in Chicopee Monday morning led to the arrest of a 35-year-old Southwick man for OUI and gun related charges.

Around 8:40 Monday morning, Chicopee police were called to Providence Street for a report of a crash. When they arrived, the reporting party informed them that they had just gotten home, and a car was blocking their driveway.

In an attempt to let the driver know they were trying to park; the reporter honked their horn which caused the driver to move forward and hit a parked car.

Police said the driver appeared to be slumped forward and out of it, possibly sleeping. They added that the driver could not respond to simple requests like asking to license and registration. He was able to exit the car at the request of a field sobriety test but ref
