Fresno Unified School District reports student improvement in a preliminary assessment of the 2024-25 Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium scores.
About 37% of students tested met or exceeded standards in English Language Arts, and 27% met or exceeded math standards. That marked a 2% increase in both sections from the previous year — nearing pre-pandemic levels.
In 2019, 38% of students met ELA standards and almost 30% met math standards.
