CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Hyde Park residents are pushing for more patrols by the Cincinnati police after a string of car break-ins in the neighborhood.
People living in the neighborhood said multiple cars were hit Monday night; for some, it wasn’t the first time.
“It’s a very open neighborhood. A lot of people walk. It seems like a very fine neighborhood but when you turn off the lights, that’s when the bad guys come out,” Mark Weber, Hyde Park resident, said.
“Someone broke into my car last night. There were papers thrown about everything was gone through they even went through my trunk,” said neighbor Carter Aleson.
“This is probably the 8th time our cars have been messed with,” resident Alan Wiesenhahn added.
