BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Louisiana native national recording artist Justin Garner was announced as a performer for the 52nd Bayou Classic in New Orleans.

Garner is expected to perform the national anthem at the matchup between Southern University and Grambling State University on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Caesars Superdome.

The Plaquemine native has performed the national anthem at several major sporting events, including for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, and San Francisco Giants.

He was previously recognized as an Artist on the Rise by Amazon Music. He also shared the Essence Fest stage with artists like Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and New Edition.
