BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A family-owned restaurant is opening in Zachary on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Genevieve Sushi is taking over the spot that was most recently occupied by Arzi’s. The address is 20377 Old Scenic Highway, Suite 201.

The restaurant will have a new look when it opens. A new sushi bar, signage and décor were installed, according to Genevieve Thawng, daughter of the owners of Genevieve Sushi.

The daughter said the renovations were done "to create a modern and welcoming atmosphere."
