CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The West Virginia Division of Highways awarded the contract for a major bridge overlay project.
This is a live look at the Fort Hill Bridge in Charleston, the busiest bridge in West Virginia, according to the WVDOH.
The contract has been awarded to Triton Construction for more than $6.6 million.
This comes after WSAZ reported on several instances of pot holes and a large hole popping up, creating delays and even lane closures.
The project is expected to start within a few weeks and be done by the end of November.
